DBA (Database Administrator, MySQL focus)

Job description:
We are looking for a knowledgeable DBA, with a desire to build their skill set and work in a fast-paced environment. You will work directly with web, project manager, and marketing to create usable and exceptionally accurate data. Focus is on MySQL, but familiarity with MSSQL is very helpful.

Responsibilities
-Responsible for helping architect, organize and execute a systemic approach to data
-Work with web team to manage data capture, mapping, and mining for online campaigns
-Develop queries or UI to help marketing teams execute against plans
-Demonstrate high standards of workmanship, attention to detail and adherence to industry standards

Job requirements:
Experience/Required Skills
-Highly creative and fearless when tackling new projects
-Superb knowledge of MySQL, solid knowledge of MSSQL
-Passionate and knowledgeable about data integrity
-Focus on web to DB and DB back to web, an ability to write apps or webapps is essential
-Experience with project lead and project management, or the skills to adapt to the role
-An awareness of current trends in DBA architecture and the tools necessary to both recommend and build that architecture.
-Ability to take direction
-Effective written and verbal communication skills
-Excellent organizational skills
