Millennial Media is seeking a Mobile Sales Executive to join its advertising team.  We are looking for someone who has existing relationships with key clients while successfully prospecting, qualifying and generating new business.  The candidate will develop and cultivate deep relationships at the media supervisor and buyer, head of strategy and emerging technologies/media, VP and SVP levels of Fortune 1000 companies and ad agencies, and should have a strong client and agency rolodex.

Areas of responsibility include working with major accounts and their advertising agencies, articulating our overall business objectives and value proposition to the advertising community, and assisting strategic advertising deals on the Millennial product suite.  This position will carry a specific sales region and annual sales goal. 

Job requirements:
-The candidate will be an experienced and seasoned sales professional
-Background will include a deep understanding of and relationships with clients and digital agencies that have advertised in the interactive space and digital agencies.
-A documented history of closing deals directly with clients, as well as with agencies
-Demonstrated ability to manage complex negotiations to successful closure and delivery
-The ability to work independently as the initial sales executive in the region
-Experience with mobile or wireless is a plus
-At least 2-4 years of online ad sales experience
-An additional 2-4 years of traditional media sales experience is a plus -- print, broadcast, cable, etc, 
-A deep understanding of planning and measurement is a plus (Media Metric, NetRatings, @Plan etc.)
-Compensation includes base salary, stock options and a strong commission package

In sum we are searching for the ideal creative, high velocity, new business generator, marketing-oriented media seller with a passion for what mobile advertising can bring to blue-chip advertisers and a drive to exceed goal and achieve a the highest standard of sales excellence.
