Account Manager

Job description:
Millennial Media seeks an energetic, entrepreneurial director of account management. This person will report to the VP of global sales and will be responsible for building the company’s account management team. The director of account management will partner with the company’s advertising sales, publisher services and business development teams and will have a major impact on the success of top brand’s marketing campaigns across multiple mobile advertising platforms.

Specific Responsibilities:

* Create and implement an account management process
* Build and sustain strong relationships with new clients
* Service existing client relationships
* Grow revenue through upselling existing accounts
* Develop proposals to grow client relationships
* Solve problems for clients and implement solutions to improve campaign performance
* Deliver client feedback back to sales and technology teams

Job requirements:
Required Experience:

-3-5 years experience in a client service, account management or project management role with an interactive marketing or advertising company or agency
-Proven success growing revenue within existing clients
-Interactive advertising experience
-A deep understanding of an Internet business
-A working knowledge of search marketing space
-Proficiency with SFA or CRM applications such as Siebel or Sales Force



Education:

-An undergraduate degree is required.

-Demonstrated comfort with ambiguity
-Team player
-Possesses a "whatever it takes" attitude
